Cheryl Marcell

Cheryl has over 20 years’ experience in association management serving as Executive Director for three state-wide trade associations while with the Messersmith Group. She has also served for 6 1/2 years as President and CEO of the California State Railroad Museum Foundation. Her experience includes grant writing and reporting, fundraising, event management, communications, and media relations. She has supervised both management and line staff throughout her career and has managed budgets in the range of $2 M to over $6.5 M. Now with the McDonald Association Management Company, she serves as the Executive Director for two professional trade associations and one 501c3 medical society.
