Each year, Associations West recognizes three members for their exceptional service to the Society and the association community. Below are the 2024/25 Recipients!
Nominate A Peer
Nominations are now open through Nov 26, 2025! A typical nomination includes a paragraph or two summarizing why you believe the person deserves to be considered for the award and should address at least one of the criteria mentioned below (those who are nominated will be asked for more details). Note that current Executive Committee Associations West Board members are not eligible for nomination.

Association Executive of the Year
Presented to the CEO of a member association, non-profit, or AMC based on overall contributions to Associations West as well as service to professional, civic, or charitable organizations, and achievements for their employing organization.
Geri Hayes MacDonald Staff Achievement Award
Presented to a staff member of an association, non-profit, or AMC based on overall contributions to Associations West as well as service to professional, civic, or charitable organizations, and achievements for their employing organization.
*New* Emerging Professional Rising Star Awards
Presented to one Industry Partner and one Association Professional (staff of an association, charitable organization, or AMC) under the age of 40 or who has under 7 years of experience in the industry. Based upon overall contributions to Associations West as well as service to professional, civic, or charitable organizations, and achievements for their employing organization.
Industry Partner of the Year
Presented to an Industry Partner member based on overall contributions to CalSAE as well as service to professional, civic, or charitable organizations, and achievements for their employing organization.
