Professional Bio
I bring more than 25 years of experience in the property management and community association industry, with a career defined by leadership, operational excellence, and a strong commitment to education and professional advancement. My professional journey spans affordable housing, homeowners association management, and nonprofit association leadership, allowing me to develop a broad perspective on housing operations, governance, and the evolving needs of communities and industry professionals.
I began my career in the affordable housing sector, where I spent 15 years working in low-income housing management. During this time, I developed extensive experience navigating regulatory environments, compliance requirements, and mission-driven operations focused on providing stable and supportive housing for residents. Managing within complex regulatory frameworks strengthened my ability to balance operational performance with human-centered leadership. These early years shaped my professional philosophy — that successful property management requires both strong systems and genuine investment in the people and communities being served.
Building on this foundation, I transitioned into homeowners association (HOA) management, where I spent the next decade advancing into leadership roles of increasing responsibility. Throughout my HOA career, I earned multiple nationally recognized industry designations, including Certified Community Association Manager (CCAM), Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA), Association Management Specialist (AMS), and the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) credential. Achieving these designations reflects my dedication to ongoing professional development and mastery of industry best practices.
For three years, I served as Director of Community Management, leading and mentoring a team of community managers responsible for diverse portfolios of associations. In this role, I focused on strengthening operational consistency
