My professional journey spans affordable housing, homeowners association management, and nonprofit association leadership, allowing me to develop a broad perspective on housing operations, governance, and the evolving needs of communities and industry professionals.
I began my career in the affordable housing sector, where I spent 15 years working in low-income housing management. During this time, I developed extensive experience navigating regulatory environments, compliance requirements, and mission-driven operations focused on providing stable and supportive housing for residents. Managing within complex regulatory frameworks strengthened my ability to balance operational performance with human-centered leadership. These early years shaped my professional philosophy — that successful property management requires both strong systems and genuine investment in the people and communities being served.
Building on this foundation, I transitioned into homeowners association (HOA) management, where I spent the next decade advancing into leadership roles of increasing responsibility. Throughout my HOA career, I earned multiple nationally recognized industry designations, including Certified Community Association Manager (CCAM), Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA), Association Management Specialist (AMS), and the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) credential.
