Bylaws Revision Vote

The Associations West Board of Directors is submitting recommended changes to the organization’s bylaws for approval by the membership. The changes are substantial and generally fall into three categories:

  • Updates related to changes in the law or advice of legal counsel

  • Recommended or updated practices based on current association best practices

  • Technical changes or clarifying language

There are three documents for your review:

  1. Current Bylaws

  2. Proposed Bylaws

  3. Bylaws Amendments Chart. This shows a side-by-side comparison of the old and new language, and the reason for each change. (Please note that minor changes to wording or grammar that do not impact intent are not included.)

As a member you are asked to carefully review the changes and then vote on whether or not to accept the recommendations. To verify you are a member you will need to be logged in to your account to access the voting link. Please review and vote by July 18
