About Insights
This immersive retreat is a high-impact gathering intentionally designed to help association CEOs/EDs navigate complexity, spark innovation, and drive transformative action in a rapidly changing world. Step away from the day-to-day and return reenergized, inspired, and ready to lead what’s next.
Exclusive CEO Peer Group
The retreat’s intimate scale ensures meaningful dialogue among a hand-selected group of association executives. It’s a rare opportunity to step away from the daily grind and engage in candid conversations with leaders who understand your challenges and speak your language.
Reflective Space for Strategic Clarity
Surrounded by a serene setting, participants gain the space and focus to think deeply about their leadership, their organization’s trajectory, and the future of the association sector.
The CEO as Interpreter, Integrator, and Catalyst
Association CEOs are being asked to lead through an environment in which change is arriving faster, traditional sources of organizational value are being challenged, and the answers are rarely obvious.
Insights 2027: The CEO as Interpreter, Integrator, and Catalyst will explore the evolving role of the association chief executive: interpreting what is changing and what actually matters, integrating those shifts across strategy, people, technology, governance, and member value, and catalyzing the action necessary to move your organization forward.
Through facilitated conversation, peer learning, practical frameworks, and individual reflection, you will examine where associations may need to rethink long-held assumptions, strengthen your capacity to adapt, and lead differently in the face of uncertainty. The goal is not to predict what comes next, but to help you become better equipped to understand it, respond to it, and shape what happens next for your organization.
Come along the journey to explore:
- What is actually changing around associations—and what is simply noise?
- How is the membership value equation changing?
- How should we think about AI beyond basic productivity applications?
- How do we build organizations capable of adapting rather than continually reacting?
- How do CEOs align staff, boards, volunteers, strategy, and resources around change?
