Lean In Circles Begin - for Women in Associations

Are you a woman in senior association leadership looking for support as you grow your career and leadership skills? Inspired by Sheryl Sandberg’s Lean In and the powerful work of LeanIn.org, Associations West is launching a Lean In Circle exclusively for our female members. This no-cost, yearlong program combines world-class leadership content with the strength of women showing up for one another. Think part leadership workshop, part support network—all built for you.

Each Circle brings together 8–12 women in senior-level roles who commit to ten monthly 90-minute virtual sessions. With a focus on growth, connection, and community, this experience is designed to elevate and empower.

We’re proud to have Melanee Cottrill, MBA, CAE—Executive Director of Head Start California, Chair of the AW Professional Development Committee, and a dedicated Associations West member and volunteer who has been Leaning In since her first (of three) reading of the book in 2019—serving as the lead facilitator for this inaugural offering.
