Hi, I’m Farhad Khan — 3x founder, strategic architect of member-driven technology, and CEO at Member Lounge. We help professional associations turn their websites into engagement powerhouses.

Over the past decade, I’ve helped hundreds of associations improve their member experience through better platforms and smarter automation. With our product Member Lounge, our company was named one of Ottawa’s Fastest Growing Companies. We’ve built some of the most robust and engaging member portals in the country.

I started out in software engineering. Earlier in my career, I worked at organizations like Ericsson Canada. This gave me both technical depth and strategic foresight.

Through years of working at the intersection of tech and business, I’ve developed a strong ability to spot industry shifts early and help associations respond with agile, scalable strategies.

I’m also building AI-powered tools to support association members. My focus is on using data and automation to personalize engagement, simplify operations, and uncover new ways to create value.

Beyond tech, I’m an active voice in the association world. I’ve spoken at 50+ webinars and events, and on my podcast, I interview association leaders to share ideas and tactics for stronger member engagement.

I believe deep work beats shallow hustle. Systems create scale. And real communities are built through thoughtful, consistent value.
