Being a native Texan, Shelly Brown migrated to the western front in the summer of 2019. Shelly has loved Las Vegas ever since her first trip out for her 21st birthday and had wanted to work and live here ever since. While it took a little longer to fulfill her dream than she hoped, Shelly and family eventually loaded up and relocated to fabulous Las Vegas. Shelly now considers Las Vegas her forever home with her husband, David, and son, Vincent.
Having over 30 years of experience in hospitality, Shelly has made her way through various positions and departments within the industry. Shelly’s career in hospitality started as a hostess at a hotel restaurant in Austin, Texas. As Shelly’s passion for providing excellent customer service continued to grow, Shelly transitioned into different roles such as being a food server, a banquet server, a cocktail waitress and eventually she became the Food & Beverage (F&B) Supervisor. With Shelly’s growing interests and her determination to learn more about other areas of a hotel, Shelly left the F&B side to explore Front Desk Operations. While working as a front desk agent, Shelly was quickly promoted Front Desk Supervisor, Manager on Duty, followed by Front Office Manager. The desire to continue her growth, Shelly then pursued interests in the Sales and Catering Department where she assumed the new role of Catering Coordinator. After a brief stint as Catering Coordinator, Shelly’s path of succession was Catering Manager, Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, and Assistant Catering Director. Shelly flourished for a couple of years on the Catering side and then Shelly found Sales! That is when Shelly eventually shifted into a Sales Manager position. Sales has been her drive and passion ever since.
