Organization Overview
Visit Stockton is the official destination marketing organization responsible for promoting Stockton as a meetings, events, sports, and travel destination. Through strategic marketing, sales, partnerships, and community collaboration, Visit Stockton works to attract visitors, conferences, events, and investment that generate economic impact and additional tax revenue for the Stockton community.
Visit Stockton believes residents come first. By attracting visitors and creating positive experiences, the organization supports local businesses, strengthens the local economy, builds resident pride, and enhances Stockton’s image as a diverse and welcoming community. The organization also believes that a city residents believe in is more likely to attract future business investment and convert visitors into future residents, helping grow a diverse and talented workforce.
Visit Stockton is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit trade organization funded through an assessment paid by guests staying at Stockton lodging establishments.
